Terms & Conditions
I. TEAM
PLACEMENT Teams will be placed in their registered
bracket/division. In the event a bracket cannot be filled, the tournament
committee may combine brackets or appropriate age divisions.
II. SCHEDULING REQUESTS The tournament scheduler will
make an attempt to honor all scheduling requests. However, scheduling requests
are not guaranteed and teams should be prepared to play at any time during the
posted tournament dates.
III.
REFUND POLICY (All tournaments) A team may withdraw from
the tournament and a full refund will be issued if the team cancels prior to the
registration deadline. After the registration deadline, a 50% refund will
be issued only if the tournament director is able to find a replacement team,
otherwise no refunds will be issued.
A.
INCLEMENT WEATHER (Indoor Tournaments) If a
team is unable to attend an indoor tournament due to poor travel conditions or
road closures, 75% of the registration fee will be refunded if the team has not
played at least one game. If a team has checked in but elects to leave early
from the tournament, no refund will be given. If the tournament is cancelled
prior to the start of the tournament due to poor weather conditions, 100% of the
registration will be refunded. After the tournament begins, no refunds will be
issued if the tournament is cancelled.
B.
INCLEMENT WEATHER (Outdoor Tournaments) Tournament matches will be played in all weather conditions unless the
referee or tournament committee determines the conditions are dangerous and/or
life threatening. The tournament committee will do everything in their control
to make sure all matches are played, however, if the weather or field conditions
do not improve the tournament standings at the time will be final without
refund.
CONTINGENCY PLAN:
- PLAN A: All matches will played as scheduled.
- PLAN B: Shorten all first round matches.
- PLAN C: Plan B plus shorten all semi–final matches
- PLAN D: Plan C plus shorten all final matches
- PLAN E: In the event the fields become totally unplayable or the
weather becomes a hazardous condition, it may be necessary to decide some
matches with FIFA penalty kicks
IV. CODE OF CONDUCT:
By registering this team, I agree to uphold our players, coaches, and
parents to the highest standards of sportsmanship and behavior. I realize that
not abiding by these standards, may result in the removal of a parent, player,
coach or team from the Tournament. In the interest of the game, the
participants, and everyone involved, there will be increased discipline against
game disruption, violence, and verbal abuse. Violent behavior by player, coach,
or spectator is grounds for dismissal from the event. This behavior includes but
is not limited to, verbal abuse of the referee; badgering the opposing team;
violence on the field, sidelines, or stands; walking onto field without the
permission of the referee; or any other act that tournament officials feel is
inappropriate. This also includes any action – verbal or physical – towards
tournament officials, referees, staff, etc. If, during the course of a game, a
referee determines that verbal abuse or inappropriate conduct disrupts the game,
the referee can opt to take disciplinary action against the team(s) disrupting.
If a referee or official representative ejects a player, coach, or spectator
from the game, they must leave the premises. If the player, coach, or spectator
does not comply with the referees warning, the referee has the authority to call
the game. The team associated with the problem will forfeit the game and receive
the loss (even if according to the score they were the winning team). If a
team is removed from a tournament for disciplinary actions, the team will not
receive a refund.
